Cooper Union hometest problem: "A sequence of images observing changes in water over time."

*Cut paper, graphite pencil

I had a lot of fun making this little accordion book. While it's small, it might be one of my favorite projects from the hometest. :]

Okay, about the conpcept:
I watched this documentary called "Tapped", and it totally blew my mind. So bottled water? It's a conspiracy. Don't buy it.

Anyways, this got me thinking: The way we access water really reflects human nature, and how it's changed over time. Originally, we were all like: "Me thirsty. Drink water from stream", and everything was cool. Eventually we got a little more civilized, decided to stick a pump in the ground and BAM! water, easily accessed. Nowadays, we buy water in bottles. Sure, we all have sinks in our houses, and yet we still buy insane amounts of bottled water. (The bottles, most of which, end up littering our natural water resources. IRONY.) Have we really become such consumers that we'll pay for something that literally comes for free? Seriously? We're all idiots.

(End of rant. Hope you enjoy the art.)

Awwwww! What a cute little book! I have no idea how you managed to work on such a small scale, but this is great (: I like the idea a lot, and how you used blue as the color accent to go with the water theme. Great job!
