Sonic Boom

I realized that i haven't drawn for fun in a while (i draw nearly everyday, but it's been mostly just for art class lately) so i drew this. it's sonic the hedgehog the way he appears in "Sonic CD", one of the greatest 2D sonic games, hands down. This really makes me nostalgic of the days when sonic was great instead of "meh". Don't get me wrong, I loved quite a few of sonic's 3D adventures, too, but i feel as though he's fallen a little from grace.

I know i'm not the best cartoonist, but i gave it a shot...By the time i got to the sky i grew a little weary of all the blending so it didn't turn out particularly nice, but the rest of the background is okay, i suppose. I might do some more old school art if people like this, i'm thinking.

I hope I could give you a little bit o' Sega blast from the past!
